Owner, Master Colour Expert

Belinda has had the privilege of having Sizzas Hair and Beauty for over 25 years, and in that time, she has learned that there is nothing she doesn’t love doing with hair. Bel is one of just two stylists in Townsville with a degree in colour recognised globally.

Belinda credits her longevity in the industry to training, education and runs by the motto that you can teach an old dog new tricks. Bel’s continuous hairdressing education has provided her with knowledge all over the world, both nationally and internationally, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Los Vegas, Mexico, Cambodia and more.

Lou started at Sizzas and has grown into the amazing stylist that she is today. Lou is passionate about making her clients feel stylish and confident. She is obsessed with bright and lived-in blondes, balayage, flowy up-styles and curls. Since completing hairdressing college, Lou has continued to learn with extra training in cutting, curly hair and weft extension with Hair Candy. Lou’s perfect day would be taking her clients through a total transformation, from long to short, dark to light, straight to curly. She is always up for the challenge.

Justine

Justine brings over 12+ years of Wella knowledge to the team. Since starting her hairdressing career Justine has fallen in love with a passion for foiling and re-style cutting. Justine continuously strives to grow as a stylist furthering her education in the colour world doing Colour Genius courses and Hair Candy weft Hair Extensions. Justine’s perfect day would be foiling non stop as her passion for blondes is unmatched. No such thing as being too blonde for Justine.

Mackenzie

Mackenzie

Stylist, Makeup Artist

Mackenzie is currently undertaking her Certificate III in Hairdressing. Kenz is excited to learn all techniques of foiling and colouring in the fast-paced world of hairdressing to create beautiful and glamorous looks. Within Mackenzie’s apprenticship she has also completed Wella’s Colour Craft Specialist course that gives a deeper knowledge on hair science and colour theory. Kenz wanted to make sure she came out of her apprenticeship with as much knowledge possible to create gorgeous hair.

Amy

Master Stylist, Weft Extension Specialist 

Amy adds 10+ years of experience in hairdressing industry to the salon. Her perfect day in salon is a day full of hair cuts. Amy loves any style of haircutting weather it is short, medium or long. She loves being able to be creative with just a set of scissors and comb. Amys favorite colours to do are all over glossy and shinny colours. Amy has also extended her education after her apprenticeship doing training in weft hair extentions,  babering and advance cutting courses. Amy is eager to create beautiful hair for you all.

Sizzas Hair and Beauty was founded in Hermit Park, Townsville over 90 years ago. Over the past 24 years, since its change of management, the salon has established a reputation for a high standard of service with a commitment to excellence through the passion and dedication of its owner and senior stylist, Belinda Toomby. Overall, our styling team have a combined total of over 50 years experience in the hair industry.

Over the past decade, Sizzas has built a strong identity within the industry as a modern and professional salon where the client truly is the focus.

Sizzas Hair and Beauty prides its point of difference as being a focus on communication and ongoing education for all staff. We provide this by offering customer service second to none for all of our clients, and also through regular and ongoing education for our whole styling team to ensure you receive the very best service every visit.

Sizzas management and stylists has continual personal and professional growth as the salon partakes in local (internal and external) and international training throughout each year. This is the reason our salon can maintain its continued excellence within the industry and high level of client service that we have become known for.
